Nichole L. Koester, 33, of Sumner, Iowa, died Friday, August 2, 2013 at her home.

Visitation: 5 to 8 P.M. Monday, August 5, 2013 at the Becker-Milnes Funeral Home in Sumner. Private Family Memorial Services will be held. Inurnment: Will be at a later date in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Sumner, Iowa.A Memorial Fund has been established in her name.

Nichole Lea Koester was born April 2, 1980 at Waterloo, Iowa the daughter of Myron and Barbara (Meier) Koester. She was baptized at St. John Lutheran Church and attended school in Sumner. Nichole was employed at Guppy’s On The Go in Tripoli. She enjoyed fishing, camping, horses, spending time with her nephews and colleting pens; sunglasses and anything purple.

Nichole is survived by her Daughter, Tayler Jurgensen of Sumner; Parents, Myron Koester of Sumner and Barbara (Vic Baltes) of New Hampton; Sister, Tara (Rendall) Wilharm of Sumner; Brother, Tony (Michelle) Koester of Cedar Rapids; Nephews and Niece, Kyler and Kallen Wilharm, Traeton Wilharm and Macy Wilharm of Sumner; Paternal Grandmother, Alice Koester of Sumner; and many Aunts; Uncles; and Cousins.

She was preceded in death by her Paternal Grandfather, Rueben Koester; Maternal Grandparents, Robert and Lois Meier; and an Aunt, Sandy Opps.

I remember Nikki when one of the hundreds of time we were riding horses, you threw a fire cracker under your horse I was riding and it bucked me off. My foot got caught in the sturup and she drug me down the driveway! Lol, you were always messing with me on those darn horses. :) and the countless times you would run to your mom crying because Tony and I were shooting birds and Barb would take our BB guns away! I have so many wonderful memories as kids with you and your family. I'm so sorry Barb Myron Tara and Tony. You were wonderful Nikki and I will always love you.

Nikki and I were Best Friends and shared a lot of fun memories growing up. I haven't talked to her in a long time but always have missed her. I will always cherish the memories I had with her.
